American Cancer Society's Relay for Life of Richland Area
for 2013 will take place from noon Friday, June 14 to noon Saturday, June 15, 2013 at the Richland
Township Park (32nd Street, South of the Village of Richland).
St Tim's Church's team goal is raising $2,000
further the American Cancer Society (ACS) mission to prevent cancer, save lives, and diminish suffering from cancer. Funds raised support research, education, advocacy and service. Since 1946, ACS has funded $3.6 billion in research to find cures, including $20 -$25 million per year
to Michigan and Indiana university researchers. We join over 20 other teams to
raise $80,000 in the Richland area.
St Tim's will raise funds through donations
and sponsorship of walkers, luminaria sales ($10 each) and St Tim's Heavenly Food concessions at the event. Friday's menu includes grilled brats, chicken breasts, and burgers;
chips, pop, water, and
ice cream, as well as the Boudeman kids' lemonade and cookie stand.
All around the track, other teams will
have concessions and activities to raise funds as well.

If you are able to attend Relay
for Life, consider signing up to raise money by walking the track for 1/2 hour.
Also, we need people
to help with our concession sales at the St. Tim's Heavenly Food tent on FRIDAY afternoon and evening.
Cancer survivors and their caregivers/supporters
are invited to the Victory Lap at 6 PM Friday, followed by a dinner in their honor.
At dusk Friday, the track will be lined with lighted luminaria, a moving tribute in honor or in memory
of friends and loved ones.
