Volunteers are needed for a general cleaning “party” on Saturday morning (Nov. 22) from 9-noon to do a thorough cleaning of the space to ready it for the weekend services (4:30 p.m. Saturday & 9:30 a.m. Sunday).  The more hands, the faster it goes!  Thanks.

From Steve S.:
To Parish:  Thanks to many volunteers we are getting close to completion of the ramp project. We are down primarily to the railings which are well underway. On Wednesday evening we will be working on some sanding and assembly. Some daytime help could be used on Thursday and Friday for staining and finishing. Please contact John K. if you are available.

Date:  11-10-08; From:  Steve S.  To the Parish: We had 25 volunteers turnout for Sunday de-construction of the Sanctuary space and got a lot accomplished!!  THANK YOU!!  John Kingslight is the carpenter on site and can use help throughout the week with different projects. His cell number is xxx-xxxx if you want to call ahead to see what he may need help with. Over the next couple of days he will be working on shortening the 1st pew and the modesty panel while the ductwork is moved in the ramp area. I had thought we may have some time in the Hickory Builder shop on Wednesday but that is now shifted to Saturday from 9-12 noon so that John has time to get a list of what oak he will need. We will still plan to have a Friday PM cleanup at 4pm to ready the Sanctuary for Sunday service. I’ve told Stan not to worry about the Sanctuary on this Thursday cleaning since we would still be working in there on Friday. Anyone available to help on Friday or other days would be appreciated. Please call my cell number with other questions. Thanks Steve S.
