Good Luck to the inTiminators Team Members (Laura, Mark & Renae, Katie, Lizzy & Jane, Chris Michael & Abby, and John & Rosemary) who will be participating in the YMCA’s Shermanator Triathlon on Saturday, August 2nd!  Cheerleaders are welcome to come and support our team!

We have new neighbors!  The Rectory has been rented.  We would like to emphasize that the whole parish is deeply grateful for all the efforts of the various volunteers who have been working and getting the Rectory ready for rental! 

If anyone is interested in making Prayer Beads, there is a sign-up sheet.  The number of kits need to be ordered ahead of time and then the date for this will be set.  The cost depends on size and type of beads.  The meeting place will be the Beadin Path Store in Richland.  Please see Susan Schoenleber for additional information.

The Gift that Keeps on Giving.  We are pleased to announced that we have received the first gift to our Endowment Fund.  The Endowment Fund has been established to support our building and grounds, the Christian education program, and music program.  Endowment Fund spending is restricted to 4% annually to protect the principal and ensure long-term support for St Timothy’s.  The Endowment Fund accepts both lifetime gifts and bequests upon death.  For further details or to discuss planned giving opportunities, see Trey E.  A copy of the Endowment Fund Policy is available in the church office and on our website: http://sttimothychurch.tripod.com/id18.html 

The book club plans to meet on Wednesday, August 27 at 7:00 p.m.  They are reading The Shack by William P. Young.

Pledge Reminder:  Our current cashflow is very tight.  Throughout the summer, please keep your pledge payments current as our monthly budget and cashflow depend on this support!    If you have any questions about your balance, please contact our Treasurer, Sharon B. 

The Christian Formation Classes and the Wednesday Bible Study Group are taking a break for the summer and will resume after Labor Day.

We are in the process of updating our Church Members and Friends Directory.  Please let the office know of any changes to your mailing address, phone number and/or email address.

There are several open dates for Altar Flowers for the remainder of the year.  Please consider supporting one of these dates in celebration of a special event, or person.  After the Sunday service, one arrangement usually goes home with the donor.  The other arrangement is sent home with a parishioner experiencing special needs or one who has a celebration that week.  The cost is $30.  See the flower chart downstairs to sign up and return an Altar Flower Form with a check in the weekly offering or to the Church Office.  Thank you for your donation, it provides a gift that all will enjoy during the service, and one which you will enjoy for many days to follow.
